Kittymom13 It always impresses me when I see a blanket made from a bunch of squares because I know how repetitive they are. I'm so close to having the 200 squares made for my tetris blanket, but I still have to put them all together...

Did I miss the May challenge post, or is poor Always still stuck under the pile of entries from the last one?

Oh, May minilist time! Smiley

I got everything off my April minilist done except the Eyeball dicebag for my sister's partner's birthday and the April ami army project (which was a pig). I'm going to make the pig anyway, and give it to my DP's sister for her birthday in July. I started the dicebag last night and it's almost finished already - I hope to post it tonight or tomorrow. I only have the one birthday left in May (my sister's partner) so I'm going to use this as a chance to get ahead on my Winter Solstice presents.

Eyeball dicebag for my sister's partner's birthday
Mother's day magnets for my mum
robot and Mr Bump for my youngest's 3rd birthday
3 winter solstice dragons

I have more presents to get for June, but I have to buy those, because they are for DP.  Roll Eyes Our anniversary is next month too - 8 years for us!

DH found an old rotary cutter out in the old home's garage...I wonder how well it's going to work... Roll Eyes

I must get to tidying my workplaces and organizing for May's projects:
#s 1 and 3 are done and that leaves:
April and May's Sampler Squares for Knit Guild
DD's Knit Afghan...just knit on it... Cheesy
Cut, sew Exchange Squares for quilt mtg.
--cut sew last months 'exchange' squares
---apply Jan/Mar 'exchange' squares to Feb's and then apply Aprils finished 'exchange' squares... Lips sealed
And last, complete Journal pages from Ongoing Journal Page Swap...=] *nearly done*

There is swap stuff going on in here, too and as always...an ongoing Granny something or another...=]

My personal projects are on hold until I finish my personal swaps...2 1/2 swaps to complete, one of them a large one.  I have the one for bananaleg for the dress I just finished and one for kbauer for a rainbow button cuff on my 50 list, the large one I don't as it's actually a carry-over from last year Tongue  Yeah, I'm WAAAYYY overdue on completing that one!  LOL!  Hopefully will be back on the 50 bandwagon soon!

Finished one of the longer-running projects on my list- a locker hooked rug made from scraps!

That puts me up to 8/50, but progress is progress, right?  And this project made me realize I have a TON of scraps, so maybe a few more projects using them will be coming soon...

It's my anniversary next month too. 6 years for us.

I hadn't actually thought about making something for it though. Which is weird because I usually go all out and overboard with any little excuse to make him things. Hmm. I think it may have to do with we'll probably (if all goes well) be in some stage of moving then.

My anniversary is in June too - married 4 years.

I actually some some really cute marvel cross stitch I'd like to frame or put on the front of a sketch book for him, but I don't think I'll have time - may is pretty busy for us with the end of the school year, graduations, etc.

Beautiful stuff, everyone.
Meleriffic, I especially love those tatted pendents!  Really gorgeous!

Does anyone here know how to do finger tatting (no needles involved)?  An elderly relative used to do it and made some lovely things but she was never able to sit down and teach me.

I'm trying to finish up my Mother's Day gifts.  Hopefully I'll get pics and get them in the mail in time!

Haven't had time to do anything since I started taking care of my youngest sisters kids. It's literally a 11 hour job and even when I find time to do something in between diapers, bottles and Disney movie marathons, it's not for my self. Got some swap items done by the end of April, and I barely touched my April list, with the exception of some earings and a bracelet from #5, so I will just copy paste it and try and get those out of the way and then add if I can by mid month. Here is May(April) Mini List:
Here is my April Mini List:
1. Create a bird house out of a gourd.
2. Colorful bunting for my nieces. (2)
3. Learn to weave my own hammock.  Undecided (depending on supplies)
4. Finish my tile mosaic.
5. To try something I haven't done before with earrings, bracelets & necklaces.

I made a crocheted bracelet with red seed beads but couldn't get a decent shot, and I made some grape earrings using some purple cracked glass beads.
Will edit w/ pic later since my picture is too big to dload at this moment. Sad
I really hope I can keep on track with my 50 as I help my sister out with my nephew & niece. I'd die if I couldn't craft!
