oh yum!  While I was tallying up the projects, I noticed that quite a few of the made items were food!!! HA HA

Sounds like you are going to have a lovely time relaxing with crafts and other fun things!  ENJOY!

So many awesome projects have been posted!  My dad has a HUGE organic garden (he sells his veges and has been writen up in regional magazines, etc.) now, but when I was a wee kid he started with square foot gardening . . . makes me nostaglic to see your garden, Deeder.  I have a black thumb (much to my dad's dismay) but plan to try some container gardening this summer (tomatoes and herbs).  I need to get the 411 on that method, though, as the time to stick stuff out there gets closer (I live in VT, so we haven't had our last frost yet).  That will have to go on my list, as I have some spots left.

I LOVE that birdie dress.  On my list is to make a successful skirt from scratch (#31) but I keep failing!

I have been plugging away at crafting but had company the past 2 weekends so don't have anything finished yet . . . I also have a confession.  I spend more time on crafster than I do actually crafting!  Balance has always been an issue for me (sigh).  Okay.  My goal for the week is to post at least 1 FINISHED project!

Rock on!

OK--I think we need a mini craftalong to make a simple skirt! Cheesy

Very cool!

I was thinking more in line of the one yard wonder--aline, elastic, done! Cheesy

Elastic is the devil.

I used to say that a zipper was the Devil, but not so much anymore. Wink

I just finished another zippered item! Whee!

ha ha I knew you would get addicted to them!  It is like when the "ah-ha" factor sets in, you just want to put zippers in everything! Cheesy

I have such a stash of elastic...I better like it!

I haven't kept up recently as I should!  Sad  I finally started cutting out squares for my rainbow skirt!  I have squares cut for Red, Orange, Yellow and Yellow-Green.  Cheesy  I have to get some more for each tier of the skirt but its a good start!

AND!  Something else to add to my list.  I'm going to knit myself a nice 3/4 sleeved bolero jacket to go with the REALLY cute dress I just bought from Lane Bryant.  Cheesy  I was so excited to find a dress that fit and had pockets!  Its adorable.  And its an excuse to go shoe shopping. Roll Eyes Cheesy

Look Ma I finished something!

No-Sew Cat Blankets for J's cats (Green and Alien #'s 26 & 27)

I know they were low-skill projects but at least they are done (my earlier confession motivated me to action  Wink )  Sorry for the poor quality of the pics -- I have a crappy camera and am not a good photographer.

Happy crafting and rock on!

PS: I love the idea of a mini-craftalong for skirt making!

I've done a huge amount of crafting today!

The apple butter has been canned and is currently cooling on the kitchen counter. (I'm on 5 out of 6 "pops" for seals. YAY!)

I've finished about finished my goodies for the current Frugal Swap. Just a few more little things and I'll be done. Cheesy

I've decided to not do the banana bread. There's a storm headed towards us and I would much rather be sound asleep before it starts. Otherwise, I'll not sleep until it is completely over.
