Great apron! Very cute, I like the contrasting fabric. Smiley I also think my partner in the one tiny swap used that Owl pattern for my beverage cozies? You be the judge.

Here is my April Mini List:
1. Create a bird house out of a gourd.
2. Colorful bunting for my nieces. (2)
3. Learn to weave my own hammock.  Undecided (depending on supplies)
4. Finish my tile mosaic.
5. To try something I haven't done before with earrings, bracelets & necklaces.

TODAY IS CRAFT DAY at my housE!!!!!!!!! (Well, after I run a forgotten homework to the high school, get groceries at three stores, mail off my assignment, make the bread for supper....) You guys and your awesome productivity have been driving me NUTS since I couldn't do anything but (waste working time) lurking. How do I pick a WIP to start on?!!!

I adore Alwaysinmyroom's little apron and can't wait to see what waggonswest does in the end.  I love how all these creative people are pitching ideas and links...is that called "remote crafting?"

And I can't figure out for the life of me how one would make an owl pop out while knitting.

graced, I don't know how it is done with knitting (however you normally make cables I guess) but the pattern I used to crochet called for Front Post double and treble crochet.

I've decided instead of making a rainbow scarf for my niece's 21st in a week, I'll just give her mine, and I'll make myself a new one. I wanted to improve on a few things anyway. That means I can focus on my swap crafts, and those dragons for my son's birthday that I keep putting off. I like looking at dragons, but making and sewing together 12 itty bitty pieces each time gets annoying.

April things to focus on
things for labyrinth swap
final thing for Whedonverse swap
B's dragon
rest of goody bag dragons
Moogle for best friend's birthday
decorate tube for m&ms mini swap
Eyeball dicebag for my sister's partner's birthday
the April ami army project
and whatever the april challenge here ends up being...

phew, busy month! Good thing most of those are smaller things at least.

3. Make an ergo sleeping pillow stuffed with Idaho potatoes- I found a great tute on this

I can send you some cuttings of poison ivy I could send you...

I think a good source for fabric for your hot air balloon can be purchased from KLKing...that is an awesome project!  It should only take a day to make, right?

I am not much of a cook, but those cookies sound yummy!

Well, I am going to hand sew, so it will probably take 2 days. As far as fabric goes, I was going to use old t-shirts and jeans.
