I think a good source for fabric for your hot air balloon can be purchased from KLKing...that is an awesome project!  It should only take a day to make, right?

Well, I am going to hand sew, so it will probably take 2 days. As far as fabric goes, I was going to use old t-shirts and jeans.

And Happy Anniversary to me and the Mr...23yrs...=]  And I LoVe what Craftster's doing to our avatars... Cheesy

Haha!  I hadn't even noticed until you pointed it out, but I love that alwaysinmyroom's ducky has specs, after all the talk about blowing up our pictures. Wink

Here's my apron:

And an obligatory photo of one of the cookies that actually worked.  (Sorry, no brownie photos.)

And happy anniversary, Kittymom!

My "goal" for April is to finish as many of the piddly UFO's as possible.  I have a number of items that won't take long to finish; I just keep forgetting they're there.  (Hooray for a list! lol)  For instance, there's a robe that just needs the edges hemmed.  (I think I made it when I was sewing costumes for a church cantata and it was too small, so I set it aside and made a larger one.)  If I just hem it, my kids can use it in their dress-up box.

omg--that apron would definitely qualify you to be able to sign up for my first ever Craftster-sponsored sewing class!!!  It is really cute and just about my size...and I like purple!

evilsabina--what a great idea to use something recycled!  I am sure jeans and t-shirts make the perfect hot air balloon and also parachutes!

It's from Sew Liberated's Emmeline pattern.  I love this one!

I have a poison ivy tree I'll be glad to send on for your garden.  I can throw in a bunch of yucca plants and some mint if you like.

Sewing class?  Your size?  Your color?  Is this one of those sweatshop deals where we all 'learn' to sew by making the emperess some new clothes?  Barn 3 (snort!)

Totally love the house, but I can tell you were a little rushed on the landscaping... no crabgrass sanctuary!
