I was thinking of putting the raw edges at the top and making the ties binding style all the way across so it will have the strength to hold the golf balls and things they need.  Hmmm... I think I see a plan.  Now all I need is a good embroidery pattern.

A2JC4life, those are homemade photo corners, I guess.  Honestly, it's a very "un-polished" piece but I like the rough look of it for some reason.   Smiley

I love those fingerless owl gloves!!  Was there a pattern or did you figure out how to do that yourself (the cables=owl aspect, that is)?

I'm thinking of going to Michaels this weekend (and using that 25% off coupon!) for various supplies.  I just wish it wasn't such a trek from where I am!  Can anyone recommend a good glue for making marble magnets?

I have used placemats and tablerunners to make quick aprons...and, dishtowel---all the edges are done!

Like this--I added a waistband but you could just add ties/ribbons--use another one cut in half to make a huge pocket--so three towels would get you two aprons...

Always.  That is cute.  I think I am just going to have to try and play around with it a little bit.  They are for an event that is themed cruise ship with various activities representing ports of call or parts of the ship. For example the room where the girls can check their purses is going to be the purser's office and the casino will be port o call Monaco.   I haven't actually figured out how the minute games fit the theme  (any suggestions on that?)  I'm hoping to find the right sort of cruise ship embroidery pattern to use on the aprons.  Suggestions for that appreciated as well.

When I made marble magnets, I used clear silicone sealer from the kitchen/plumbing department at someplace like Lowe's.  It works beautifully.

And this apron pattern might work: http://organizedhome.com/clean-house/how-to-sew-cleaning-apron  Size-wise, it's overkill, but you could use the construction methods and just incorporate your own measurements.

The pattern for the gloves came from Ravelry Owl Mitts

I don't know what sort of embroidery pattern you use, but a quick Google came up with the following clipart pics:

Those are totally cool Silver.  I just need to figure out how to digitize them for my embroidery machine.  I suppose I could do the transfer thing, but....

Surely there is software that comes with it?  Shocked My sister has a computerised sewing machine that can do auto embroidery, and she has software that can covert jpgs or bmp to the format needed. Try Googling 'name of your machine'+software+jpg and see what comes up?
