27. First ever stuffies. Just used a tutorial on a blog somewhere (I can't find the link) 13/3/11

28. Crochet Wrist Warmers, using organic cotton. No pattern used. 14/3/11

29. 2 x wrist warmers for kids. One is toddler size the other is kiddie size. No pattern used again. 17/3/11

30. First ever modelling dough models. Picked up some kits on clearance. 17/3/11

31. Fabric bandaids. Followed this tutorial. I didn't have glue dots so I used a glue roller thing that I had & just used fabric scraps. 18/3/11

32. 3 x learning to knit swatches. DD took off with them & I can't find them anywhere. So once i find then I will take some pics. 19/3/11

Fishstix The apron is very cute. My DD would love it!

I finally found a moment to finish up the 2 amis that I've had hidden from my kids!

Both of these patterns are from RoxyCraft, the Gabu and Bunny Boo. Both are bound for Easter baskets. Smiley

Also, another step into the wide world of baking. I had some over ripe bananas so I made a batch of banana bread with walnuts. Before it was out of the oven, my DH was in the kitchen grabbing the butter and a glass of milk. I'm just going to bake little things every so often until I get the confidence (and time) to tackle yeast breads this summer when I'm out of school.

That apron is so wonderfully springy and girly!

Troublet, you have got to be kidding me. You are in school and do all that cool stuff?! Yeast breads should be a piece of cake. (I bake yeast bread without a bread machine every day and don't give it a thought. YOU should be able to do something spectacular with it!)

LOL, graced, my mom always tells me that I go to fast for Sick to catch me. Smiley

I used to bake a lot when I was living with my parents, cakes from scratch, cardamom yeast bread, etc. but I haven't indulged since I moved to GA. This is going to change though.

That apron is adorable!  Does it have ribbon at the waist, too?  (I can't see that part well in the picture.)

Everyone has been so productive!

skittlebub--your "firsts" are rocking this board!  I love the little clay creatures and your stuffies! (and of course they qualify as learning something new!)...

Fabric bandaids?  Are they just for one time? I am curious as I am allergic to latex and the adhesives on most regular bandaids...glue dots don't hurt?

Troublet--awwww---cute ami!

Also, you know that I love your baking!  I make your harvest bread recipe often!

I also love to make bread...there is something comforting and warm about bread dough rising in a huge bowl covered with a towel (which reminds me...Wulf made an awesome towel to cover his bread...I have had one of those on a list ever since I saw his...)

REMINDER!  This Friday, March 25, is the last day to post projects for the March challenge!  I have added another prize so be sure to check it out by clicking on the March challenge in my signature!  If you can't post pics due to swaps, just PM me and tell me what the qualifying project is and I will count it!  CRAFT AWAY!!!

A2JC, I actually just cut the ties off the dress itself and repositioned them at the back.  They're just cord made from the same fabric as the dress.

Again the projects posted are amazing.  I am learning beading and re-learning embroidery for my Mini art quilt swap, but there is NO WAY I'll be done by Friday.  However, the challenge is certainly pushing me to work harder and to try new things.  For that I thank you!

I actually did my first stencil project ever!!  I would never have tried it if it weren't for all of the cool projects here!

I like being pushed outside my comfort zone for a bit...but it also feels good to go back to what I know and love the best! Cheesy
