I was fairly productive this week (but am too tired to go find my camera and cord), I made the following:
dress for niece - she helped
palazzo pants - just need to add closure and hem 1 pant leg  (Ran out of thread)
pyjama pants
cut out pyjama pants

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Thanks for all the advice on the Doggie bed gals. Luckily I have like 9 pairs of old jeans (skinny jeans) that I could probably put something together for them, and it's destashing right? Glad it ties in nicely with my going greener plans this year! Thanks guys, Hugs!

Btw, those bookmarks are very cute! I thought they were hair ribbons at first.

Shan-E-bear I love the fingerless gloves and scarflette. Looks warm. Smiley

I managed to finish up the crochet work on the second ami for my kids without them knowing! I just have to do the final assembly which won't take long but it will be tonight after they go to bed before I can get to it again. Smiley

I've tossed the idea of doing home made sweets for their baskets. It's just not feasible. Maybe I'll make some little flower hair clips for my DD. What could I make for my son? Hmm...

I had an odd piece of inspiration strike me the other night and mod podged a tiny tin to make a mini embroidery kit.  I think I saw something on your siggy, Troublet, about making an embroidery kit out of a repurposed tin??  I think that's where it came from...filed away in a dusty corner of my brain and suddenly I tripped over it and decided to work on it Smiley  I still need to create a 'needle cushion' in the lid, and find a needle threader to go with the fold up scissors I already tucked in there...I also have a couple thimbles so I can spare one of those to put in as well.  I'll post a pic when I organize all my goodies and put it together!

I feel like such a slacker on my list!  The problem is that I keep joining swaps and crafting for those.  So....  new goal for me....  don't join anymore swaps!!  Roll Eyes  I think if I avoid joining anymore swaps right now then I'll be able to work on things from my list.  What a concept!  Cheesy

I'm in the same boat Ffrogg! I've cut back on my swapping but the problem is where I dont do as much swap crafting any more the school work has picked up so my free time for crafting for me is still limited. I'm seriously seriously going to stop swapping for at least a couple of months (I say that now....curse all the awesome people that come up with awesome swaps I cant resist) so when I have a little free time I can spend it on myself for once!

I will be making her another one but I am experimenting with a huge zipper and maybe a clear, see through front for her to see what she has! Cheesy

Ooh - clear is a great idea!

shan-E-bear: Kudos on the buttonholer!

Oh how true that is!  In the two weeks before spring break my Chorus is going sooooo many different places and I still have to teach a full schedule plus they're starting to get ready for EOGs...  craziness!  Roll Eyes  I think I've decided that I'm going to go on swap sabatical for the summer.  That seems like a loooooooong time but at the same time....  I've gotten so many things from some swaps (NOT ALL!  I PROMISE!)  that I never use.  They just take up space and I don't need more stuff like that.  So...  swap sabatical for me.  now that being said...  no one's allowed to come up with awesome irresistible swaps!  Wink  Grin
