Ooo! I am starting a hoopla wall in my craft room, so that caught my eye. Also I am a huge Vanna's Choice fan so seeing the yarn made me go ga ga!

The challenges are so fun! Sadly even though I packed projects on my trip to qualify, I just haven't had the time to put out a project. The baby sweater is high priority over the others because of the timeline. This sweater sure doesn't knit up fast, which was not what I was expecting. Though I wasn't exactly sure what I was expecting as it is my first sweater. Ugh, tiny stitches. Maybe it just seems so long because I am only doing a row or two at a time.

I have found that even though some crafts look quite easy...they aren't! I just never realized I'd have so much trouble with this particular one. I can't say what it is because it is for the crafty detective swap and you never know who's lookin Wink Practice, practice, practice! Then maybe someday I will come up with something Fan-Freakin-Tastic!

I was kicking butt on my list at the start of the year but man I feel like I haven't gotten anything done in weeks! I'm really really hoping after this week's midterms and various projects that are all due at the same time, I'll be able to find a little free time to work on stuff for myself finally....either that or I can't wait for the break between semesters. *sigh*

And ditto again!  Grin

So last week I found a WIP I started in 2009 (or possibly earlier), so I've been working on that the last couple of days to get it finshed for the other half.

I haven't ironed it because last night I put DS to bed then came out & put DD to bed. Picked it up to do the last 20-odd stitches only to find DD had cut 2 holes in it (above the blue & yellow buttons) through the outline of the controller, while I was putting DS to bed. The other half said he doesn't care, he likes it anyway so I've put some fray stop on it & will have a look at it later
