I made another item off of my 50 list today! It's too rainy and cold outside to start prepping my container garden for planting so I decided to work on my plant markers instead. Cheesy

I've never done any woodburning myself, only ever watched someone, so this was a big adventure for me. Mint was my first one and I learned a lot about how fast to work. My favorite of the lot is rosemary. I'll be putting a coat of polyurethane on them tonight.

I've really fallen behind on crafting lately! I have done two things today and will hopefully get something else done tomorrow.  Congratulations to all on the fantastic projects!

SilverMoon, I like meleriffic's idea of embroidery hoops. You could paint them sky blue and add in some soft felt cloud to make it look like they were flying. Smiley

Maybe a smaller hoop suspended in the center of a larger to have more depth in the mobile?

Someone PMd me with the idea of dreamcatchers, so maybe a large blue embroidery hoop, with a smaller dream catcher in the centre? Keep throwing the ideas out, this is great Smiley

Very cute kwiltykate!

I managed to finish off a WIP I've had floating around for a while, but I'm saving it in case I can get into the Whedonverse swap, so I won't post it here yet.

Oh, those are great, T Smiley  I like the Oregano and the Thyme ones best, myself.  Hope you get some great use out of those embroidered muslin bags I sent you a while back!

I'm finally going to post some pictures!!!

Daschund approved scrappy star blanket for jennilocker in the IYP swap!

My first cable project EVER!  I made this for the PE teacher I work with.  She made the comment that we've been working together for 5 years and I haven't made her anything.  Then later (different day) she said that if she had a scarf it would be black.  So I started this, took it to school, worked on it right in front of her!  And if never dawned on her that it was for her until I finished it and gave it to her.  LOL.  She's a great person and we get along well - but she's an idiot some days.  Roll Eyes

Troublet...is there anything you can't do? Those herb markers are GREAT!

KwiltyKate...that wallet AND pad is awesome. I've never seen one with both, usually see SETS, which is just more junk to juggle with a squirmy baby. Love the fabric, too. It dawned on me the other night that I'm going to have to hit up the fabric stores wherever we travel from now on, or just be jealous.

Ffrog526...you are VERY nice to make her something, and what a fun story to have between you. It looks wonderfully fluffy and soft, and those are lovely cables!
