astormorray, gorgeous yarn! Did your bat come that color or did you dye it yourself? Orange yarn is very difficult to come by and one of the main reasons I want to dye more and more.

What do you intended to make with it? I can see something lacey in there.

I dyed it back when it was roving.  It's actually mostly yellow, with some red and orange, though it reads as orange further away.

Dyeing is awesome. You should do it! It's actually very easy, and there are so many exciting things that you can do with it.

The current plan is fingerless gloves, because they are my second favorite thing to knit. (My first favorite thing is socks! but there's not enough for socks.)  I don't have a pattern in mind, though.  Chances are, it's just going into the holding tank until inspiration strikes.

March:
1. Stuff & sew a new doggie bed.
2. Make my self new ergonomic wrist cushions for mouse & keyboard.
3. Plaster and decorate my own Mardi Gras masks.
4. Bake ButterBeer cupcakes. And more Butter Beer. Wink

So I got something done today for march and my supplies came in for other things needed to finish March projects. Yay, oh and pictures.
The set with my mouse. I used scrap fabrics I've had since sewing my nieces quilts last year. You can kind of see where I hand sewed the bottom of the mouse cushion.

Here's the larger in action. I added about a table spoon of lavender in each for calming purposes. I love the glittery skull. It's so me, gothic/punkish yet a bit girly. Cool And they smell great!

I'd get those Butterbeer cupcakes outta the way if could just find my cupcake pans! Roll Eyes I swear I am almost excited for "spring cleaning". ...Almost.

Inspiration without application is moot.

Ohh, how about short, lacey socks? Cheesy

Did I mention my oldest son has been begging me for orange sock yarn for months, no, years now? I really need to dye some up.

Yay!  Cheesy   I'm so happy to hear that and how awesome that it matches almost exactly!    Grin   I thought you might like it since you had 3 things wisted that looked very much like it so I did my own interpretation of that theme.  Smiley   Plus it helped me with a personal goal of doing more artwork.   Smiley

v3nu5, I love your keyboard!!!!   I am totally geeking on it!    Grin   I have a mouse pad pillow like that and it helps so much.  Smiley  But I didn't make it, so maybe I will make one for the keyboard.  Smiley

And I forgot who posted the butterbeer cupcakes recipe, but thank you!  I saved it and plan on making them maybe for my birthday or sometime soon.  Smiley

This isn't a finished project, but I had to share the latest dragon for the baby mobile I'm making. It's so tiny. And cute.

The itty bitty purple one is 3 1/2", which is half length of the pink and white one in the background. I made the purple one using a thin mystery yarn - possibly 4ply? and a 2.5mm hook.

The whole thing will be done in various pinks and purples - very springlike. Hopefully I get it finished in time for the March challenge!

Any suggestions for what I could use to hang them from? I want to use fishing line/invisible thread to hang them, and I'm toying with the idea of found branches, perhaps painted gold, to hang off, but I'm not sold on that yet.

I've seen ones that hang from various sizes of embroidery hoops.

v3nu5 - Love the ergonomic wrist cushions! I can't believe I haven't thought of that! I keep eyeing them in the store, but don't want to pay $15 - $20 for each of them!

SilverMoon - I love all of the dragons that you have been making, but this tiny one is absolutely adorable!

I managed to do one off my list, but unfortunately don't have any photos! I had the chance to do a random act of kindness today - it was a small one (I made a birthday card for an 86 year old woman), but it felt good! I posted about it here in the Random Acts of Kindness Craft-Along!

SilverMoon, I like meleriffic's idea of embroidery hoops. You could paint them sky blue and add in some soft felt cloud to make it look like they were flying. Smiley

Maybe a smaller hoop suspended in the center of a larger to have more depth in the mobile?
