baby announcements do have a tendency to upset lists...and my goodness there are a lot of babies coming this year!

I whipped up a hat for a friend of the family. She bought the yarn like ages ago and only just realized before giving them to me that they are from 2 different dye lots...but she's okay with that. So she has a 2-tone slouchy hat!

Looks very similar to the one I made my mom, but this one is fluffy and uber soft!

1/2 done the laundry basket basinette for my next niece or nephew (due in May).  The basinett is for in the camper - no space for a playpen, and the 2 older girls share the one fold down bed now, so they need something or the baby.

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

The red bag is fantastic.  I like the blue hat too.  You guys just keep making amazing stuff.  I'm going to have to really kick it in to keep up.

I am making progress.  I spent the day figuring out my new magnetic hoop.  Much better than the original one.  Then I spent the evening trying to figure out why the embroidery pattern would work on the small sample square and not on the quilt.  I've got it all set and managed to complete 1 row of my raw edge circle quilt.  I am pretty sure I can get the rest done this weekend but for now I'm going to savor my victory over the machinery!

That puffy hat looks SO warm  Grin It reminds me of a catalog page I took out of either Alloy or Delias that I hung on my inspiration strip a while ago. It was a whole series of hats and scarves in the similar stitch. Been meaning to make one, but my mind has trailed onto other projects.

I like the puffy hat too!

Finally I have something I can post here:

a RED and black ladybug scarf for my niece's 13th birthday present. I'm making her a matching phone cozy as I type. Well, not as I type, but while I wait for the photo to upload at least.  Tongue

I finished the cabled black scarf for my co-worker (first time working with cables!  yay!)  I also made risotto this week which has recently been added to my list!  But as I'm in Atlanta and I just realized that like an idiot I forgot to bring my power cord with me...  I'm only checking basic essential things to my existance  (yes - as I'm sure many of you feel - Craftster is a basic essential to my existance!  Grin) And I'll post pictures of that maybe Sunday night when I get home.  I have a few other things I've finished but can't post just yet because they're for a swap!  :/
