I am so sorry BethieB--but you are right to think that having time to get out of your real life into reading, crafting, whatever is the best thing...it passes time and time is all that will help you heal...love to you and your family!

meleriffic--what a lovely necklace...I know it is teal, but I think it is romantic so I am counting it as a challenge entry Cheesy

dawntrees--what a lovely box!  I love mod podge--I love the colors as well

I made a ruffled scarf that I love love love...I am going to get more yarn to make a few more in different colors...keep adding to my 50 projects list! Cheesy

BethieB...I'm so sorry. The older generations of my family always say death comes in threes. I hope that means your "quota" is full for the year and that 2011 is much, much kinder to you here on out.

Graced- It was actually -33 but the windchill was -43. That was yesterday, right now, it's +1.  I used to live in the Yukon and would walk a mile to work in the dark at -55!!

You are a far hardier soul than I!!!!!!!

I am wearing it now...I took pics but I forgot to load onto the picture hosting...I promise I will post pics this weekend! Cheesy

It was a simple crochet pattern from Lion Brand---I printed out the pattern a few years ago...I now wish I had made it sooner! Cheesy

edited to add:  I just tried looking up the pattern and it is no longer available!  But, they do have other ones that are exactly the same as what I did! Just different yarn! Cheesy

Picture from the Lion Brand site so you don't have to register and be a member.  If you are a member, here is the pattern:

Yep guys, 2011 can only (well, *should* only, lol) get better from here!

Always - love that scarf.  Also, I think I missed something somewhere - there's a challenge for February?

Hand sewing anything, let alone an adorable poppit, is amazing all on its own.  Can't wait to see pics!

The modge podged boxe is perfect, love the fabric lining.  I bought a bottle of Mod Podge last year and have still been too intimidated to actually open the darn thing.  Maybe that will be my weekend goal - mod pdge the crap out of something!!  Cheesy

CadaverXStitch - its never too late to join this craft-along!  Its totally move at your own pace.  It just helps those of us (like myself) who are too scatterbrained to keep up with what projects I want to make on our own.  Cheesy  Dive on in to the crafty goodness!

I am totally sick and tired of my Craftster Challenge #59 craft. It's so tiny I thought I'd be finished in a day or two, but it hurts my hands so much I have to keep taking breaks and get nothing visible all day.  Undecided
