I know I just posted but I wanted to share what I just finished. I assume she doesn't see this board, so I am going to take the risk. This is for SlyFox as a thank you present for sending me a great package in the FOC Second Chance Rd2. She doesn't know she is getting anything so SHHHH!  Wink It's my first embroidery, but I believe it didn't go so bad considering.

Another red! Up to 4 now  Smiley

Thank You Smiley

I got the fabric from heath_face in a unicorn zombie apocalypse. I believe I have run into it at JoAnns though. It's flannel in case you were wondering.

Alisha - that fox is great!  And that's your first time doing embroidery?  Double great!  I need to try using a filler stitch like that.  I've mastered satin, running and back stitch.  Here shortly I'll be attempting lazy daisies.

I don't remember who asked but I believe the basic rules for the Feb. challenge is to make something red, pink and/or white.  Possibly centered around eat/friendship/mushy stuff.  I don't remember exactly because I decided not to participate this round.

There was something about charity in there too.

I didn't pay much attention because I'm trying not to create more crafts to do just so I can enter more, but I remember that entry option because one of my flood auction dragons was entered for that reason.

too much shoveling...must sleep...cannot go back page by page to find out: what are the parameters of the Feb/Valentine's challenge again? Dates, in particular/

tx

I have the link to the rules of the challenge in my signature...click on it and it will take you to the dates, rules, and prizes! Cheesy

oops--I did not realize as I was posting that this was answered by such helpful people!!!  Thanks--three times is a charm anyway!

alishamisha--such cute items!  I eat that baby fabric!

Also, your fox puts my skills to shame...I think your partner will be pleased!

yofi--I eat your jelly!  I never thought about making them over the winter...exactly what is the spice you mentioned--sumac?  I thought it was poisonous...we have sumac trees...it can't be that...anyway...your stew sounds interesting in flavor!

I finished a couple things but since my computer is slow I wait until I have a few pics to upload. I need to do that and resize and then I can share. I finished my leg warmers and some decent kanzashi flowers for some friends.
