I think the 52 cards are such a romantic gesture for your guy!  Such a personalized gift and definitely qualifies as a February entry!

The knifty knitter blanket is also pretty great---I have just been amazed at how many things you can make with all of the KK's out there...

luckdragon--wow--great embroidery and I snatched up that scarf pattern as well!  Yours turned out beautiful!  I want to make something out of the Vanna White glamour yarns and I think I might be able to adapt PinkLeo's pattern!  Thanks for posting such lovely items.

You guys just gave me a great idea for the March challenge...I promise it will be fun an quick for everyone...remember, we are all working at our own pace---it can be just one big project, one tiny project or mad crazy like what I am doing Cheesy...this is for you and for your goals!  Have fun and thanks for letting us see your wonderful stuff! Cheesy

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Two more projects done. Yesterday DH hounded me about the dining room window, so I plopped down and made the curtains. No picture yet, though, since... well, I hung them and saw they need to be trimmed Tongue

Today I made DH's Valentine present:

I stopped by Goodwill on Sunday and picked up the plaque, which is actually a candle plate, judging by the "burning instructions" sticker on the back. I painted the words on with a stencil, glued the premade wooden heart on it, then went to put the sawtooth hanger on the back.. .but couldn't get the nails in. So I hot glued it instead Tongue

I definitely like the way it turned out.

My guy thinks I'm silly when I do that. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does it!

that1girl - That's a clever idea to use a tea candle holder! I often see pretty holders, but we don't burn candles much, with three young hooligans running around. That's the best of both worlds! (And I love the purple flowers!)

onceinlovewithAmy - that's cute. My DP doesn't "do" Valentine's day, so I'll have to live vicariously through all of you!

My hubby and I have a Valentine tradition. We don't get each other anything, but we go to the flea market and we each get to spend $20.00.
