the original plan with the quilts was to give them at the same time the baby gets theirs - baby is due in May, but then I was like, maybe I can finish for easter, but now I'm thinking it might just be done for Valentines - but I still have sheet sets and pillow shams to make and all the quilting to do, so we'll see, if they do get them for Valentines I'll have to figure out different "big sister" gifts for them.

I made my mom the tea wallet off of my list. She is sleeping at the moment and hasn't seen it but I left it on the table with a note. I hope she likes it. It's a surprise for our FL trip.

One thing that some people of mentioned is that it is good to have a project on the needles so they know you actually knit. No one has had issues but just in case.

Ditto the above, but with one warning: Everything depends on who you get at security.

My SIL had been knitting on flights for a year, no problems, then suddenly got a ***k**s guy who would not allow the needles on.  They would not check them for her, so she lost a set of good bamboos.

She now travels with a cheap set, and a large stitch holder.    I'd be inclined to pack a padded SASE in order to mail m needles back to myself.

This is going to be very helpful. Lately I'm overwhelmed as we moved in September and most of my crafting stuff is still in boxes since my craft desk and storage doesn't seem to be much priority. AHEM *grumble grumble*

5. woven pink scarf



it's pink!  the warp is hot pink, pink, and cream, the weft is mostly peach, with a stripe of orange on one side, and of hot pink on the other.

Best of all, it frees up the loom for other projects.   I've had this on the loom for over a year.   

I'm at 8/50 now...

I finished some items!

I made curtains for my living room! I am very proud of my thriftiness, I used clearance shower curtains from Target, just cut in half and added a rod pocket, $21 to cover 5 windows!

I finished a project but I don't think I can post it yet because its for a swap and I think my partner pokes around on this thread.  Almost everything I'm working on right now is for a swap so I won't be posting new projects right now.

I love that tea wallet.  And those curtains are great!  Keep up the great work everyone!
