Finished another Flood Relief dragon today. This one was for a lady who bid sight unseen for a custom dragon. She wanted me to "make it cheeky" - did I succeed do you think? :  Cheesy

LoVe your cheeky dragon, silver moon!  Great job!  Is it your own pattern?  You really know how to give them distinct character...=]

Sadly, I can't claim credit for the dragon pattern. It is by Marjorie Jones, and I found it on Crochet me

I have another to make for another auction winner, but I am taking a break by whipping myself up a shawl to wear to my best friend's wedding on Sunday. No pressure or anything.

Well just because you didn't design them doesn't mean you didn't do a wonderful job! I always love hearing when crafters stop and make something for themselves. It's important to do that  Smiley

I figure sparing the world the glaring white sight of my shoulders in a strapless dress is enough of a public service. Only, I ran out of wool after 5 rows. I knew I didn't have enough, I was just trying out the pattern, but I couldn't get yarn, to match my dress like the remnant yarn did, at my local (Kmart) so I have to make a trip out to the big craft store twenty minutes away tomorrow. So I'm back to making dragons for now. Another red one. This is my third. And I am so over plain red dragons. Still, once this is done I can get back to more fun stuff again. Like my NCIS Abby bunny...

SilverMoon, your dragons are too cute!  I especially love all the details on the little burlesque one.

I'm more than half way through with my Tiger Eyes lace scarf, I'm hoping to finish and block it by this weekend.  And then I'm going to post all the knitting projects I've been doing since New Year's.

6. art for baby's room:

I went with an altered puzzle.

It's 11x13 inches, much more modest than the initial planned item....  still, it's something she may want to take with her when she moves on.  (She's not yet one, and I'm already thinking about sending her off to college!)  Roll Eyes

I don't know that I'm that talented with paper crafts, but I find them absorbing in a way that the usual things I do aren't...  I've been working on this obsessively since last Friday!  whew.  now, back to sewing!  Cheesy

astormorray, your puzzle looks great! I'm sure it will be so cute in your daughter's room.

Good thing you're planning now for her college, now that she's pushing two, it will be here before you know it.  Cheesy
