I love your fabric choices! I followed a tutorial on here once and made a perfect zipper pouch, but I have never managed it again! I am scared of them, too!

Sigh, I take one day off to read a book and all of a sudden everyone is blazing ahead. I want a snow day! Sure would beat all the muggy rain we've been having.

Yes, for those sharp eyed people, it is Darth Vader. I converted the pattern from a cross stitch pattern on Dorkstitch.com. He is holding a cookie, and on the other side of the pot holder, it will say "Come to the Dark Side, we have cookies". In hindsight I should have started with that side first, since it is only two colours, instead of 3-5 per line, and it would not have been so discouraging to frog. I've got until the 4th of Feb to get it done if I want to give it to my sister for her birthday.

Those catnip eyeballs are too cute! Reminds me of the eyeball dice bag I want to make my sister's partner.

I'll be uploading pics tonite of a couple of projects done...I'm going to clean and organize my work area and move my sewing out of the kitchen!  Then I can take up quilting this weekend...=]

This weekend I am planning on getting back to my for me list... I'm going to do up some towels and try to kick out a few small things off my list - and restart on my bedroom table runners - I didn't like the look that the ones I started were going so I am going to redo them completely - evil grin....    I'm going to do a pinwheel block design I believe.

eclecticdreamer  the bobby pins are very interesting...I think they'd be pretty in hair!  I like'd having long hair and putting it up..that could jazz up an updo nicely.  Doesn't the wire pull hair out??  *ouch!*

They don't pull at all! I wore them today and everyone loved them so I had to keep yanking them out of my bun to show them haha

Thank you for letting me know eclecticdreamer!  I'm going to keep my eye on that for when my hair gets long again.  It is very short now...but it will grow fast. =]
