Could you PM me with a best route for shrugs. I can crochet, but haven't in years. I would love to try one of these, but the patterns I see might me a bit complicated. I know how to increase/decrease, and can follow the simple single, double crochet stuff. Do you know an easy pattern I can get for these?
Your version looks great. I hope it is well received!

 Thanks!

~T

The really nice thing about this shrug is that it is made almost like a scarf. It is just one large rectangle, seamed at the sides. There are no increases or decreases, just single crochets.

Good luck!

Seems like this is the "go to" pattern for an easy shrug!  I printed it and will now add to my list...

I have been hard at work over break crafting and learning how to cook, of all things.  Sadly, school starts again on the 18th, so bye bye free time!  But - here's what I got done.

17. Baby bibs for A, my niece:

12. Apron for B.  he was a marine.  the patch is an eagle, globe and anchor on a red background.

27. Cupcake apron, which I am trading to finraziel for that fab hat.  I like this pattern's hip stance.

21. Wee bunny for A.  I made it from stash corduroy and it was a little unwieldy

14. Felted dryer ball

I got other things done too; I just don't have pictures.  I also made:
18. Blythe dress
22. Swiffer duster top (thanks to kategirl for the link)
25. Knifty Knitter Cowl (which has a couple slipped stitches so I'm not entirely happy with it)
26. Finish kitchen cabinets.  This was a huge pain - I'm just glad its done.

So far,  I think I am 10/50.

Wow, ghilie!  That's a massive amount done!  You rock!  And those projects all look fantastic.  I love the stuffed bunny, it's so cute.

ghilie, you've got a lot done. I love that apron, and the bibs are adorable (especially the pear one)!

I like the keyboard print a lot...at 10 projects so far, you are going to be hitting your 50 pretty quickly! Cheesy

I finished my first zippered bag! This is supposed to be a very simple, quick project, but since I'm a sewing novice it took me...well, I don't want to say how long  Cheesy

I love it, and it's now home to my knitting accessories (stitch markers and holders, row counters, etc.).

Oh, those bibs are super cute! And the apron. And the bunny.
I also really dig the zippered pouch. I'm afraid of zippers. I'll have to just do it, I guess.
I do actually have a completed project but I haven't taken pics yet. I don't know how much I'll get done in the next few days, though. The hubby and the kiddo are finally on the mend, so it's my turn to get sick.  Undecided

Ew no getting sick! You have 50 projects to complete! Wink
I'm afraid of zippers as well. I'm definitely a sewing novice so I'm insanely jealous over that zipper pouch redlflags!

I have a ton of projects started, but nothing near completion. Fail. How do you guys do it!?
