I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.

Thanks! That method was born out of my original idea of covering a wood frame in pieces of metal to look like it was put together that way. At some point I came to my senses and realize "Hey, I'm crafty! I can do this with paint and not slice up my hands!"

(granted this was after blood was drawn)

I love this. I want this in a jewelry box or makeup box. All the details are great, especially the "seams" and "rivets." GREAT touch!

did you get the idea from alpha stamps? i saw some steampunk paper that looked liked this but i have got to say that your advent calendar looks amazing better than what they had one the website!!

 Cheesy I'm on the AlphaStamps design team and I created this piece as a sample for them using the Graphic45 "Steampunk Debutante" paper.
