ewwwww, mousehands! i would've used the skull -  first i would've put the mouse into an anthill or something where its insides and furr would be eaten, and then used some... errms. i don't remember the stuffs name, but to bleach the skull. maybe you could use bleach for it also? well. yeah. i've never liked rodents' hands. i've owned rats, and they're always kinda cold and sticky and such. i do love them when they're a part of my loved pet, but...

and i was just thinking, that in many jewellery there are feet used, either rodents or birds or something, but they're always made of silver etc and so "not gross", and these give me the heebiejeebies. that's kinda two-faced, isn't it? our society is so double standard somehow.

So, how did you preserve the mouse parts?  Or is this a temporary jewelry set?

My rats "allways" had warm hands. XD  Tine qute sensetive little hands. <3

Yeea, i havein thought use  the skull, but theres frikking winterhere. Al ants R asleep ><  SpO i rhought i spare that idea, to spring or summer. There will allways be mouse-corpses. Cheesy

I have a friend who loves birds. Unless they do not move XD Then she really freaks. Wink

Well, I am found of that yellowness in bones, so it will be Ok with an unbleched skull Cheesy

There is so small amount meat at them so they do not rotten! They just dries in a couple a days and get mumified without any bigger works.  In the pic at top of post, the earrings are over 6 weeks old.
