Quilted journal cover

Inspired by "The Quilted Object" by Ineke Berlyn, I wanted to try and make a new cover for my journal. I think it turned out very well and I'm quite proud of it! Had to share it with you Craftsters!

This is the result:
  front side

I used small scraps of fabrics I like, ribbon, small buttons, cord, a small bell and elastic to close the journal and to keep it in place.

back side
You can see the elastic band. Not that pretty, will do it different next time.


Open folded.

inside, I can put notes there.
