I made this for my sister's birthday last year... I'm pretty proud of it so but never got around to posting it. I used dollar store items for the gun and knife. Like the little cowboy and police sets. I painted them black. The dynamite I cut the tops off of three red candles. Then I painted the top where it was cut off red, so it all matched. Then I put them together using black electrical tape. Everything is attached using velco, so she can take the book out and read it.

I took a shadow box and painted the glass with red paint.

This is the contents of the shadow box.

This was the final product.

That's a great idea! I saw "dawn of the dead" for the first time this halloween and now I have a new found fear of zombies. So this is the perfect just-in-case kit!  Wink
