This is a shirt that a friend gave me and it never fit me right so I didn't wear it. Instead, with a few cuts and snips here and there and a little help from the sewing machine (okay, a lot of help), I turned it into a bag. I has the shape of a plastic grocery bag and I use it for my school lunch. I think it give a whole new meaning to "sack lunch". And it's cute. Smiley

Great idea! Your whimsical shirt makes a great tote bag.
My daughter-in-law gave me a sleeveless T-shirt a few years ago and I've never worn it, but I didn't want to get rid of it because I liked the Gauguin-inspired graphic. Now I know just what to do with it!
