I made these cute little turkey cookies for Thanksgiving for my son's classes.  Me and my three kids made 45 in about 1 1/2 hours.  They are sitting on a gingersnap, the body is a peanut butter cup, the head is a whopper, the backside is an oreo with candy corn stuck in for the tail feathers.  Everyone loved them.

There are a few recipes for them on the internet.  I made these http://www.theidearoom.net/2009/11/oreo-cookie-turkeys.html

I combined a couple different recipes.  They are sitting on a gingersnap, their bodies are mini peanut butter cups, their heads are "Whoppers".  The tail is a double stuff oreo with candy corn stuck in.  I bought white icing, put it in a baggie, cut the tip off to make the eyes and attach the beak (which is 1/2 piece of candy corn).  Also used the icing to "glue" the peanut butter cup down (after cutting a little off to make it flat on the bottom) and to attach the tail and the head.

Soooo cute and fun to make with the kids, though my littlest one kept snagging Oreos and running off  Cheesy
