This is corset length A, from Simplicity 2355,
http://static.artfire.com/admin/product_images/thumbs/--30000--13217_product_1312994049_thumb_large.jpg

I have now started two others of this same pattern, I think I used the cutout size 6/8...

I am very pleased with the results although I didn't put complete edge trim around the top and bottom of the corset (still can't decide what to use!) aaand when I got to the point of lacing it up and wearing it in a little bit, I realized I have absolutely no proper lace to use... so I dressed it up with some silky rope just for the pictures. Any advice on what type of lacing to use, and where to buy?
Critiques very welcomed..

It looks fantastic, and I love the material!  Cheesy

I really like the cord used, I would just cut it to size then leave as is

Lovely! I have looked at that pattern several times but so far have resisted...your lovely corset may persuade me, however! Wink

I also really like the way the cord looks. Can't wait to see the others you make!

Love this so much! I just bought that pattern last month and haven't got around to using it, but I am so happy I bought it now, it looks great! Really love your fabric choice and I actually think the cording looks nice. Cheesy

Have to agree - stick with the cording.  The color compliments, it's about the same sheen, and (bonus) you have an extra length of it if for some reason it ever needs replacing (or replicating, if you want to make another).
