Welcome to the Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap!  Don't have time to participate in other swaps?  Here's your answer!  This swap is for swapping supplies or crafts you've already made.

If something is not clear, feel free to PM me, gavagai! or ask in the discussion thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=363352.0  Also, everyone who is planning to participate in the swap, please make sure to post in the discussion thread, if only to say hello!  Cheesy

Gallery for custom made items and other things you receive and want to show: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=364113.0

- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Details of swap:
If you a) have crafts lying around that you've made
or  b) want to de-stash supplies or
or  c) enjoy making things for other people
...then this swap is for you! It's a lot like the Ongoing Wish Swap, except instead of posting what you want to receive, you'll post what you want to give.  To join you must have at least five things that you have made/would like to make/want to trade.

This is an ongoing swap, feel free to join up at any time this month! To join, first send a Personal Message to organizer gavagai with the following questionnaire info. Once you are approved, you are free to claim something (i.e. one item) from the most recent list posted, and then post your own list, someone claims from it and the swap goes on like that, like a chain. Please note that you will need to add things to your list and/or reduce prices (maybe let people pick two things instead of one) if noone claims from your list for a couple of days. We want to keep the swap going!

...and that's it, basically

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to participate, information to send to organizers (gavagai and calluna)

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap:Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap - December 2010
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address including the country:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country? (you must be to join):  (*Please note that this means you have to be willing to send ANY item from your shop out of the country*)
Confirm that you are at least 18 years old (and please mention how old you are if under 18) (yes/no):
Your list of at least five items (crafts you can make/have ready-made or details of supplies you wish to offer), detailed description not necessary:
Have you read the swap info (in this post) carefully and commit to follow the rules of the swap?:
Do you agree to add things to your list and/or reduce prices if noone claims for a couple of days, and keep doing so until claimed, doing your best to keep the swap going?:
Have you made sure to post in the discussion thread for this swap?:
Do you agree to send a PM to the organizer every time you send or receive and in that PM include the send by date (from the claims list in the second swap post) and the claim itself (to/from/content) in the correct wording from the claims list?:

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an ongoing swap: Claim an item from the list of the last person who posted and post your own list in response. It makes a chain. When we get to the end of the month, the very last person to post a list will be the first person to post a list at the beginning of the next month, if Craftsters decide to organize a new round at that time.

Remember your outstanding claim limit for this round:
Friend of Craftster: Three
First-Time Swapper: One
Everyone Else: Two

This is how many pending at a time you may have. As soon as one of your packages is received then you may claim again.

Your list of offerings: if your list stays up for more than 48 hours before someone claims from it, you must make major changes to it, adding things or allow claimers to add more items together to make a claim (i.e. they don't seem to be biting on your earrings, so now they can take two pairs for a single claim instead of just one.) If you are having trouble coming up with stuff to add, consider offering a small item to be custom made for the person who claims from you. This can be conditioned on using stash items if you wish. Remember that it must be something that you can complete in two weeks, unless your partner agrees otherwise. It is ultimately your responsibility to get a claim.

Once someone claims from you, you have two weeks to get the package in the mail.  Please contact the organizer by personal message when you send the package and when you receive a package so everyone gets credit.

ALSO: Please make sure to post to the discussion thread so you stay up on any updates!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not sign up unless you are willing to send outside of your country!  This means that you will be willing to send ANYTHING in your list out of the country, if claimed.  Please do not list items as "US only."  If you feel that an item is too heavy to send internationally, please do not list it in your shop.

Check out the previous rounds if you need help figuring out the scope of what to put on your list. It is typically in the $5-$15 range, from a half a yard to a couple yards of fabric depending on weight and fanciness, crafted accessories, grab bags of yarn, beads, buttons and notions, things of that nature.

Photos and the Gallery: Whenever possible, include pictures of the items you're offering in your posts. When you receive, it is important for you to thank your partner, be courteous and communicative, but a lot of the items are premade or stash, so posting pictures in the Gallery isn't crucial. The exception to this is when something is custom-made for you in this swap. And if you make something with supplies you receive in this swap, we want to see it!

Delivery Confirmation numbers are mandatory for people in the U.S. sending to other people in the U.S., and everyone else must keep their receipts.

This round of the swap will close around midnight, on the official Craftster clock, December 31. Feedback will (ideally) be given on January 1st for all participants who have no pending claims. Everyone whose packages haven't been received will get feedback once the package reaches its destination.

Reminders/Summary:
1. Make sure to PM the organizer and who you sent to when you send out, with DC number if you are both in US. Also, in that PM, you must mention the send by date and the claim (from/to/content) in the correct wording (from the claims list in the second swap post).
2. Make sure to PM the organizer and who you receive from when you receive.
3. As soon as you claim something from someone, shoot them a PM with your address so that they have it and don't have to chase you down later.
4. Lets keep this swap moving, Please try to stay on top of adding new things/combining items into one claim if your list stays up more than a couple days, or the organizer will hunt you down and remind you.  Smiley
5. Post pics in the gallery if someone makes you something custom or you make something from supplies you receive.
6. Lets try to keep this thread for lists as much as possible to save on confusion. If your list is up, you may post a "bump" after you have added something new/combined your items, but otherwise please try to post all questions/comments/requests/whatever into our discussion thread .

Well since you claimed one more item than you sent, that's the general practice. It doesn't mean you have to claim in this round though.

I live in a smoke-free house with a dog that sheds more than should be possible.  I try to dust off as much dog hair as possible, but it gets in everything.

Claim 1 section

Crocheted bowling pin and pattern
This bowling pin was crocheted from a pattern in a Crochet-A-Day calendar, except it does not have the weighted milk jug in it.  You get the pattern (so you can make the set of ten pins and the ball) and one oddball pin (bowling trophy?  I dont know)

New Ideas for Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel (hardcover)

More Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel (hardcover, includes templates)

Easy-to-Make Scrap Crafts (softcover)

Dog or Cat key/leash hooks (please specify which one they are the same size, the one only looks larger because it was moved in the picture to condense the photo yes, I was too lazy to take another one)

Woodcraft Bits and Bobs reindeer doorhanger and stacking evergreen trees (comes as a set)

Tomato or Pumpkin crocheted pincushion (please specify which one, one tomato is deep red, the other is bright red).  These are approximately hand-sized, obviously depending on the size of your hand

Set of two wooden picture frames, 4x6 each

Two beaded ornaments kits They have been opened, but I quickly figured out they werent for me.  The Christmas Light one is missing the cover/instructions, but its the same as the candle one, so it should be easy to figure out.

Set of four plaster figurines

Large lot of cast plaster ornaments and wood bits

One set of four crochet keepers, as pictures (leaf pattern).  Please specify E-H or I-L

Small knit scarf, double thick, approx 30" x 4".  Made with a part-wool yarn, if I recall correctly (I think it was a Lion Brand Jiffy)

Lot of misc yarn (I'm hesitant to offer because I'm pretty sure there WILL BE DOG HAIR stuck to it - see not about hyper-shedding dog above).  Really random leftover bits, maybe good for small projects, mixed media projects...?

Claim 2 section

Panels of fabric each measures about 34 x 45, please specify bear or whatever youd call the other one.

Set of four scarves one is a Hawaii map (with the words Aloha and Hawaii on it), one is the Bermuda islands, the others are green and red.

Ceramic pulls/handles they were originally on a basket, I think.

Lots of pom-poms (specify which lot)

Fuzzy bears and mushrooms.  theres really no explaining that combination, it just is.

Random assortment of Cookie Cutters

I claim Smeddley's wooden picture frames (and the mushrooms and bears since she's being nice to me Smiley)

----------------------------------------------
Claims (Outstanding) I am Allowed: 2
And counting this claim I am:
Claim #1 / 1 not sent yet / 0 in transit / 0 received
----------------------------------------------

I live in Vermont, USA in a smoke-free house with many cats.

Pick 1: Now, add in one "pick 3" item as well!

Vintage yarn collection, 5 skeins of yarn from my grandmother's stash. Red Tivolaine, 70% brushed Texas mohair, 15% virgin wool, 15% nylon; Black Frostlon Petite Spinnerin, 67% mohair, 33% orlon acrylic; Cream Kitten Reynolds, 84% acrylic, 16% wool; Tan with no tag but looks and feels the same as the Kitten; White Frostlon Petite Spinnerin, 67% mohair, 33% orlon acrylic. I don't know how much there is in each skein, but they all look pretty full.

Jar of whimsies, 5 inches tall and packed with little bits, bobs, and goodies. Outside of the USA will be sent in a baggie so as to avoid the risk of breaking glass.

The Flirty Work Skirt. This was an experiment for me, but I'm never going to wear it. Made from size 8 LA Blues shorts (feel more like size 7 to me).

Pick 2: Now, add in one "pick 3" item as well!

Teal ovarian cancer awareness ribbon fabric, fat quarter of quilting cotton. I'll include the Break the Silence bracelet, too.

Hot peppers fabric, 1 yard, cotton from Fabric Traditions.

The Golden Family Craft Treasury, 1975 book with more than 150 craft projects and activities.

Junk jeweler's dream, baggie filled with vintage jewelry, findings, mismatched earrings, chains, beads, broken pendants, and more for you to upcycle.

Maple leaf dotee, made by me for the dotee swap before I discovered a new technique and made a different set.

Custom tea wallet (not the one in the picture). I'll work with you on the colors, but I can only work from my stash so no guarantees I will have exactly what you want. You may claim two wallets at once if you'd like that to be your whole claim.

Posies pillow case

Pick 3: Now pick an extra from this section as well!

10 commandments fabric panels, written in fancy script with washable fabric markers. Two panels with 5 commandments each, measuring about 10x14 inches.

One machine embroidered dove patch, measures 4.5x5 inches. Two available.

Iron-on patches for jeans. Two and a half large size (5x7), and 10 small size (2x3), one small bit taken out of a little white patch.

Big ceramic iris bead, 2 inches.

Vintage sewing supplies (lot of 3 items), from my grandmother's stash. Includes set of 7 dress weights, 7 drapery hooks, and leather souvenir needlebook.

Vintage pink and white beads, 4 strands each 16 inches long, plastic.

Blue Tinkerbell fabric, fat quarter with a little square taken out of the corner, cotton.

Sticker lot, 10 sheets of various sizes and themes, missing a few stickers here and there.

Stamp lot, 20 canceled stamps from non-English speaking countries, except one from Australia.

If that is o.k. I will claim the hot peppers fabric and Spinnerin booklet plus scarves and belts book from the pick 3 section (should equal less than one claim with the new pricing, right?).

This is my first of three claims.

MY LIST

Pick 1!
When picking one of these, you may also pick one from the "pick 3" category!

Katarina. IKEA fabric, 100% home dec cotton, out of production. Not sure how much is in the first picture, but for one claim you get 59"x39". See measuring tape in second picture for scale.

Gunvor. IKEA fabric, 100% home dec cotton, out of production. (whole piece showing, sorry about the folded corners in the picture) 59"x47".

Pick 2!

Coiled fabric bowls. Pick one for 1/2 claim. The three in the thumbnails are the ones available.

Handbag, purple butterflies. Nothing wrong with this bag (made by me), but it has no closing mechanism (feel free to add one  Cheesy) and it is made only from the two cotton fabrics, so it is not very sturdy.

Seed catalogue (from a few years back). Swedish. About 60 pages full of pictures, almost all of them about 1 1/4" square. Also loads of pages of text.

Vintage makram book in Swedish. Smiley I don't know if you can actually use it to learn how to make makram (if you don't know Swedish), but there are nice pictures and lots of Swedish text for paper art or something. 104 pages.

Ceramic pendants, glazed. Now two per claim! Somewhat better pictures now (click the thumbnails), but still hard to get really good ones. Number 3 is taken already! Newly made by me, but some of them have kind of a vintage look. "Shabby chic."  Smiley Height varies from just under an inch to almost two inches. MOVED TO THE "PICK 2" CATEGORY

Traditional Swedish glass troll, about 2" tall, heavy and could be used as a paper weight. It has an inscription on the back, apparently some kind of SAAB commercial message, but that is only visible from the back (image 3). Really difficult to get a good picture of this one.

Totoro fairytale ring - This is a button ring made with buttons in blue and transparent/white. On top is a polymer clay white totoro, surrounded by three green metallic leaves. Totoro can be facing you or your fingertips when the ring is worn. Ring base is adjustable to suit all sizes.

Next, the skull ring:

Distinct red, grey and black buttons, black button acting as a somewhat mediaeval looking collar for the skull firmly placed on top of the buttons, looking around. Ring is adjustable to fit all sizes.

the Soot sprite ring

...with a cute little soot sprite on a white button with transparent border, covered with shiny white beads. Ring is adjustable to fit all sizes.

I love U ring

The last image is there just to show that that part sticking out below the heart button is visible if you look at the ring from a really weird angle. It has no real practical significance, but I thought you should know.  Smiley Ring is adjustable to fit all sizes.

Spring colored ring with loads of purple beads

Loads of purple beads underneath a yellow heart. Spring green rounded button and a white background. Feels like summer! Ring is adjustable to fit all sizes. (Sorry about the blurry pictures.)

Pick 3!
(or pick two from here and one from the pick 2 category)

Quilting cotton scraps A, in total about 26" x 21"

Mountain Mist history leaflet, "Blue Book of Quilts", about 55 pages.

Vintage cotton fabric, about 45" x 17". Whole piece showing.

Quilting pattern. "Ring around the posie".

Quilting pattern. "Patriots pride".

Cross stitch kits to make angels (Christmas decorations) with ribbons and all sorts of stuff. Never opened. 1/3 claim each.

Okay, I give (again)!  I'll take the: 20 packages of various seam binding

(I don't care what colors, though I would like the thinner ones, since I'll probably use them to make potholders... at this rate I'm going to be making potholders for a year!  At least I know what everyone will get for Christmas... it'll go well with my tradition of recipe cards, though... hmmm...)

Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 2
Claims made so far: 2

Tomato or Pumpkin crocheted pincushion (I NO LONGER HAVE THE BRIGHT RED TOMATO, so your only option is the deep red one - but i"m too lazy to take another picture).  These are approximately hand-sized, obviously depending on the size of your hand

Two beaded ornaments kits They have been opened, but I quickly figured out they werent for me.  The Christmas Light one is missing the cover/instructions, but its the same as the candle one, so it should be easy to figure out.

Lot of three patterns - the bunny pattern has been cut out, the other two don't seem to be (I did not buy them originally!)

Set of molds - I used them for soap and plaster (the ones I have used) but I think some of them are candy molds?

Two sets of five knit stitch markers, or choose one set for 1/2 a claim.

Random assortment of Cookie Cutters

Felted purse thingie - it's not overly felted, but pretty solid, and has a button closure.  Measures about 4x6 inches

Bag o'buttons, stuffed full.  Mixed, random lot.

Some fake flowers.  Don't really know why I had these.

For the Harry Potter fan: set of 6 matchbook notepads and the beginnings of a set of magnet spells.  (instructions here: http://www.smeddley.com/crafts/craftpics/spell-magnets.html and I'll send a CD with the fonts and files, if you want, as well).

I claim Smeddley for the molds

1st claim this round

I live in Iowa. Our house is smoke free. We have a small hypoallergenic dog (all dogs produce pet dander but these breeds don't shed much). If I put custom by an item, it means I don't have one made and will make one for you. I've put items that I can easily make within the 2 week requirement.

One Item Per Claim
Baby Pinafore - I have a baby pink or or can make a custom
The pattern says it is for 0-3 months, but it looks larger. These are open in the back so you don't need to go over baby's head. There is a button in the back. If you don't want it open, just let me know and I can sew it up. Or I can make a new one, and work it in a round, so it will be closed without a seam. I can do it in other colors too.
Baby Pink:

Soft Red: I don't have this one anymore but I can make another.

Market Bag

Other views:

Should be very sturdy, as it is make out of twine. Bread not included  Wink

Baby Blanket

It is hard to see the color in the pic. It is a light baby pink. The size is about 22 x 30.

Seal - custom

Clutch - Custom - unlined

I have the same pink variegated yarn, but the button would be different. If you want a different color, just let me know. If you want, I can send you a picture of my cotton yarns.
I can make the strap removable like this one:

Large Christmas Bell Stamp

This is a large stamp at 4"x4". It would be great for making Christmas cards or stamping on presents. The lines are only there because it isn't mounted yet. Once you mount it (like on an acrylic block), they will go away. If you don't use acrylic blocks, I can mount it on wood for you. Sorry I don't have a better color to show the stamp. I like carving stamps. I don't use them, so I only have a few stamp pads.  You wouldn't get it in time for this Christmas, but you would have it for next Smiley

Christmas Stamps

The lines around the stamps are because they aren't mounted. You can mount them yourself or I can do it for you. I can mount them on wood or I can use static cling foam and send an acrylic block so you can use 1 block for hundreds or stamps.

FireFlower - custom

Goomba - custom

Bob-omb - custom

Cupcake - Custom

I can make it a weighted pin cushion or I can make it just a stuffie with beads sewn on top for sprinkles. Let me know if you don't want a face.

Dog Bone - Custom

About 6 inches long

Octopus - This one

Skinny Scarf - This one

.

Triangle Shawl - Custom

Can be worn as a shawl or a scarf. Let me know what color you want.

Two Items Per Claim

Resin Pendants - Both sets for half a claim
This was an early attempt at resin, so some came out better than others. Some came out good while some have tiny imperfections. Since they aren't all perfect, I'm letting them go cheap.

Set B:

A little under 12"
