Happy 1st of December everybody! Last night I was so sad because I was feeling in my innards like I NEEDED to craft, to create, SOMETHING, and I just couldn't. I was uninspired and just miserable. Melodramatic right?

I woke up this morning, the first day of summer and it's raining! YEY! I frelling love the rain!

I knew immediately what I had to do.

I bought this child's raincoat at the op-shop for like a dollar and had every intention of sizing it down, but never got around to it.

This morning I resized it to fit the wee one, snipped up the back and stitched it back together inserting red spikes I made from plastic-coated fabric scraps.

RAWR!

Eeeek!  If my son saw this, he'd want to be a Rain-o-saurus too!  I'm gonna have to make him something like this, he love love loves to play in the rain (I do too in fact)!  Hitting ROCKS right now!

Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, unless it has to do with crafting.
