Custom Logo Flag

  I feel this qualifies as an Image Reproduction Project, although it could have easily gone in sewing related, or outdoor decorating boards. The reason I put it here: It was all about re-creating the image.
This was a commissioned piece.
   I had to take the logo off thier website, and enlarge it to 28 inches, then create it as a 2-sided flag. I kept the black as a solid piece of fabric, and only cut out the shapes in white. The white was stitched on, and then the entire circle was stitched down. But there were 2 sides, and they had to be matched up.
  I used dressmakers carbon, and traced the design onto 2 layers of black fabric, then placed the white. I used spray adhesive on the backs of the white pieces, to keep it in place, then stitched.
  Finally, the red circle border was revealed by trimming away the black after the stitcing was complete.
  Maybe not ink stamping, but definitely image related!

That is one gorgeous flag.  I intend to make a flag of my roller derby league's logo for a parade.  I was going to paint the logo on with acrylic paint mixed with textile medium.  I like your technique better, but I don't know if I have time for all of that stitching.
