A blog I frequent was having a "Vintage Love" challenge week and so I thought I'd join in.

The only problem was I'm such a blog newbie I couldn't figure out how to link my blog post to theirs. I got very frustrated and finally gave up, but I wanted somebody to see my work and so here I am!

The culmination of the whole week was a "card recipe" where we had to include 10 "ingredients" on our vintage-style card. That was pretty difficult, but I managed to pull it off! The 10 elements were paper piercing, stitching, a button, a die cut, a 5x5 card, a stickpin, stamping, distressing, a dimensional sticker, and lace. Here's a detail shot of the paper piercing:
