I did a bunch of shopping in the STS mall this morning and re-opened.  
Hopefully, I'll have more new items added to my shop...soonish.

I added a large hard carved Christmas stamp to my shop. It is 4"x4" and would be great for making Christmas cards or stamping on presents. The lines are only there because it isn't mounted yet. Sorry I don't have a better color to show the stamp. I like carving stamps. I don't use them, so I only have a few stamp pads.

Phew, that is a relief!  I would have loved to get them, but the last thing I need is another craft.    I'm sure they've found a happy home!

Interview survived, one hour before I need to leave for the airport.  I finished my boring work shirt just before I left, so I'll have the rest of this week and weekend to do other things - planning to tackle the enormous stack of sweaters.  Next week I am going to a ridiculously huge conference for most of the week, which will preclude crafty activities....

Funthreads, what a sweet way to recycle a wedding gown.

The outfits were fun to make. My niece was a long gown with lots of lace embellishment and my nephew was shorts, top and vest with lace on the vest. Oh, and I used some buttons from the dress back for the shirt/vest.


The gown still has lots of potential for removing the lace embellishments, beading and buttons. Some usable heavy weight satin too. Any takers?

I don't think I need any more bling, and I have a feeling my wedding dress is going to be uproariously bland. haha.

My plan for tomorrow night is to do some cleaning in my shop. I have a couple of scarflettes to post in my shop as well.

I know this doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but...there's some glitch that caused my FOC status to go away!   I already submitted a Help Desk ticket, so it will all be okay. And not like anyone's paying attention to these things, but a silly part of me still imagines it and panics, and cries out from the windows to the imaginary streets of Craftsterland, "I really am still a Friend of Craftster! Honest! I reneeeewed!" (that last part echoes painfully)
