Hey i can change colors rather... strangely i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to change colors easily.

It depends how you're using the colors - stripes, fair isle or intarsia. There are some videos on using color at knitting help, about the middle of this page - http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/advanced-techniques

Those show stranding/fair isle and intarsia. For stripes you change colors by dropping the first one and begin knitting with the other colors. You can do 2 or 4 rows in each color, then change them. When you switch to the other color, twist them loosely around each other and just carry the unused one up the edge. That way you don't have to cut each time. If you knit more than 4 rows you would have to cut them and weave in the ends.
