christmas/Winter/hanukka small group presents..

Basically, I am not a festive-ish person. I do my own celebrating for my own wacky holidays, but not that much other than that and halloween... Anyways, turns out all the people I hang out with are getting our group presents, and though I honestly doubt it'll be worth it and they won't be grateful, I don't enjoy being rude. So I want to make them something. They're all girls and I have to make 5-10 of the presents.
I can sew, both hand and machine, sort of knit, spin, needle felt and work with paper

What about bath salts/sugar scrub?  Seems like this would be one of the easiest things to do for a group of girls since you can make it all at once and divide it into cute little containers.  I don't sew, but I imagine making 5-10 purses is gonna be a lot of work, especially if they won't even appreciate it?

As much as I would love to do that(and I would), scrubs/salts would not work well.. I was thinking more coin  purses rather than gigantic ones..

I love the owl idea. You might be able to find those old fashioned snap openers to use. That way the owls head could open up into the coin purse. Just a thought.
