Wow, there are so many really good needleworks on here right now! I feel inadequate showing my work on here! You guys rock!

Anyways, I drew out the concept art for this piece, and decided to do a small sewing piece on it.

I'm sorry, I know the heart is most likely not anatomically correct, but I tried.  Cry

The fill color on the raven was acheieved with watercolor pencils, and some water of course. Smiley I know it's most likely not a permanent fix, but I'm not planning on running this through the washing machine anytime soon.

Thanks for looking! Comments, arguments, and hugs are always welcomed!  Cheesy

Your embroidery project is really creative!!!

Don't short change yourself - your piece is REALLY cOoL!!
I love the idea of using watercolor pencils for shading!
I love these projects that break the rules & aren't usual projects...
Making them even more unique!

I think the heart looks great. Lots of textures. Very nice.

This is awesome! If you would like some constructive criticism, I would say the way you have used the stitches to create a feathery effect is fantastic, but it would look even better if you did it some more, and really built up the texture, like in the heart (which ps. is GREAT!) I think you have real style and creativity (and I teach embroidery for a living, so I get to see a lot of it).
