So, yeah... I put this in the wrong forum initially... I'll put it here instead.

Okay, so I'm sorta horrified with myself that I've turned into this person, but I'm justifying it with... I'm moving to Chicago and knitting things with my yarn is better than transporting yarn, no?

So yeah, I thought it would be funny to knit my cat a hoodie when I saw thishttp://www.craftleftovers.com/blog/archives/774 pattern. I had some cotton yarn, so I gave it a go.  And it was hilarious.  Then I had some sock yarn laying around, so I doubled it up, modified the pattern and knit her another one.  She's not as crazy about it, but seems quite contented at the moment.   I also decided to knit some balls and throw some jingle bells and feathers so she can play with fun things not mouse-shaped.  Those she frickin loves, which makes me contented  Smiley

Keep in mind, I was too eager to try the damned thing on her that I took pics before I wove in all the loose ends.

Thanks!  She is pretty.  I've never owned a cat before and it was an interesting adjustment.

With the sweaters, I've figured out that I have to put it over her head and when she's ready, she'll figure out how to get her paws through, so it ends with fewer kitty scratches!

how'd you attach the feathers to the balls? I'm thinking my kitty would like something like that. The trick would be preventing the dogs from eating it.

I'm totally guilty of dressing up my dogs and making them sweaters but I'm not sure if I've ever seen a cat in a handknit sweater!!! Sooo cute! I love the hoodie and your cat is really gorgeous Smiley. Good luck with your move!

I love the multicoloured sweater. Your cat seems very tolerant - I bet the toys helped
