One my best friends Chris gave birth to a baby girl just last Friday. Her name is Vera. Cheesy
I crocheted a couple of beanies & headbands as a present for her. Smiley

I used the basic infant hat pattern from http://dishclothdiaries.blogspot.com/2009/10/basic-infant-hat-4-sizes.html
I like this beanie pattern because it's not pointy like some of the other patterns available. I used the largest size available for the small hat. And for the bigger hat, I added 1 more round.

The big flower is the Irish Rose pattern from Lion Brand http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/irish-rose-2

And the lavender blue flower is from http://sewritzytitzy.blogspot.com/2009/06/crocheted-flower-brooch.html

The headbands and the flowers on them are improvised because my mom suggested them. Tongue
