In addition to learning to knit, I have a friend who is teaching me to do amigurumi. My first project was a lightsaber. I hope my (soon to be) stepson likes it.

It's pretty huge. I stuffed it with pipe insulation from the hardware dept. I may make a couple more of them, the insulation came in a 4 pack.
