I made this bracelet out of a ball of hemp the my dog had ripped to pieces.  It tied all sorts of lengths of hemp together in a string longer than me.  When I tied it together I tied a double knot with enough extra to then tie a double over hand knot which doesn't slip out.  I know you can't read the picture but the pictures should work.  If you need help with it comment or buy the book. The Handbook of Knots by:  Maria Costantino

I wrapped the rope around a large baby food jar but it's slightly too small so make sure the jar fits before you wrap it.

I wrapped the string around but made sure that the top and bottom strings had at least six inches free.  I wrapped the tails in opposite directions (important) and then tied them in a double knotted bow.

This is the bracelet off my wrist.

On my Wrist.

A Better one

Comments and Criticism welcome.  I hope you like it.

This is really cute. It has an Earthy feel to it and reminds me of a birds nest. This would look really cute with a simple dress (maybe an Earthy green with a bird on it?) or a simple outfit. I have a question though, when you wear it, does it make your wrist itch?
