My son recently made the move from his crib to his "big boy bed" so I decided to celebrate it by making him a new bed set. (I'll leave links to the tutorials used at the bottom)

Here's the whole thing:

The Pillowcase (it has a pocket in the open side so the pillow stays put):

And another view of the whole thing so you can see the dust ruffle a bit better:

What do you think?

Great colors and pattern on the bedspread, it all looks really nice. Smiley I don't know quilting terminology, but I like how the bars in the quilt blocks increase in size and alternate, so it looks fun, while the colors are acceptable for any kind of grown up person, kid or no.

That was a very thoughtful comment! Thanks for the feedback. Smiley The quilt was originally going to be a full size one, but I just wasn't ambitious enough. I'm glad though, because it is what inspired the rest of his little bed set!

I love this!!! These are some of my favorite colors. I want the adult version!
And thank you for the tutorials! I need to make some pillowcases for some Euro pillows and am going to need to make a dust ruffle at the beginning of the new year, your pictures and instructions are easy to see and follow.
