I was at the textile warehouse the other day (they are shutting down  Cry ) but also  Grin because everything was even cheaper than usual!
Right when i walked in I saw the most amazing seasonal fabric ever! Fabric covered with envelopes that have a picture of Elvis coming out of them signed
 "Season's Greetings
   love,
    Elvis Presley"
it also has poinsettias and holly.
I bought what was left of it. Aprox 1.5m

One of my good friends really loves Elvis so I need to make her something amazing out of this fabric for Christmas.
I need your help figuring out what to actually make out of it.
  • this wonderful woman is a metal-head-punk who also loves old country music and of course, Elvis
  • she will never wear any clothing i make out of this fabric
  • she doesn't need a stocking

any wonderful ideas?
I was thinking i could make a quilt with one side elvis fabric but i've never quilted before!

She wouldn't wear clothes with that print, but how about slippers? This is a great easy tute:

I've made a couple of pairs and they were really easy, my only advice would be to give yourself a little extra room for seam allowance.  Mine always come out just a little smaller than I expect. You'd probably have enough left to put them in a cute matching drawstring bag.
