My first forays into crochet were about a year ago... but then I stopped.  A couple of days ago I found the time to get back into it and I made this cozy headband with a big pom pom.  Yay, warm and happy me.  Smiley

The yarn I used is nothing special... some kind of craft yarn I found in my parents' basement a long time ago.

actually, pug, I didn't use any special yarn to make it stretch.  I just didn't crochet it too terribly tightly, so the stitching gives it enough stretch for a snug fit.
