I got this dress from value village and it didn't fit quite right so I decided I would alter it myself. I ended changing the design of the dress completely but was very happy with the end results.


This is the original dress. It was floor length but i found it was too tight in the bust.


This is the dress almost completed. I decided to do a few more alterations just to make it fit a little better


This is the finished product.

I ended up wearing the dress as part of my Halloween costume. I went as a female version of the Mad Hatter
