Update - The author of this book, Edie Eckman, may be popping in from time to time! (How cool is THAT!).  You should check out her website: http://www.edieeckman.com/ as well as her Ravelry group: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/edie-eckman-stitchers (the Rav group has the pattern for a Mystery Motif that was somehow photographed for the cover and page 67, but didn't make it into the book!)

Thats so exciting!

Cheesy I know this CAL doesn't officially start until next year, but I have more pictures to upload of squares I've been working on for Christmas ornaments.

Let's see them!

The only reason I haven't started making them is because I'm desperately trying to finish some WIP's!

Here, I'll do another of mine that I made a little while ago.

Motif 120:

Tricky to put together, but so very worth it. ^_^

Hmmmm... I do still have a whole bunch of motifs to turn into a blanket, but after adding 12 squares (from the 200 Crochet Blocks CAL) this year, I may need a few more non-square shapes. So, since I just pledged not to add any new projects to the queue, I'll have to consider this a step towards finishing up a WIP.

And fantasticmio, now who's the enabler? Wink

You KNOW you wanna CraftADDchick!  Grin  It would be great to have your expertise on here, too!

Wow!  So many developments!!  And to have the author joining us, perhaps...that is *squeee* .... Shocked

fantasticmio:  that beautiful square is in this book??  I would be interested in doing some of those, but for a different project.  That looks like one I could take on vacation(Up North) and keep busy w/ little yarn. =]
Always nice cause then I can buy more yarn when I'm up there!!  Grin

I too have the book "Around the Corners" after someone in Granny CAL told us about it!  Amazing book and I think this book will be just as good!

fantasticmio:  that beautiful square is in this book??

It is!  In the "squares" section, number 120!  I think this was the first one I made from this book, if memory serves...

Yep! Definitely time for some crochet enabling payback Wink

And, my only catch with joining is that I can only use stash yarn (fortunately, my stash has grown quite a bit since I re-learned how to crochet a few years ago).

Now, I just need to locate my copy of the book! And, I actually might know where it is Grin

LOL! Actually, painting the room that the giant bookcases are in is on the to-do list before Christmas. That way, I can spend my vacation organizing all of my books... and adding a second bookcase to the craft room Grin

I've asked for this book for Christmas, so hopefully I get it, because I would love to help out with this!
