Paper doll Swap

Remember playing with paper dolls when you were little? How much fun it was to dress them up.
I'm suggesting a grown up paper doll swap. Imagine a paper doll that uses textured paper for that cool dress, or unique colouring media for that kickin' blouse. Just think about getting a doll with a few (or more) outfits that really reflect your tastes. And who says your doll can't be a fairy, or an elf, or whatever else you might desire.

@imera - There are lots of free, printable paper doll templates online. Nothing good can come out of giving me a blank sheet of paper and a pencil except stick figures or gingerbread people shapes. While they can be cute, if my partner wanted something more real looking, I would just decorate a freebie template. They have them for clothes as well! I think that would be okay, as long as you put effort into them. What do you think, jiasaykea?

OMG I TOTALLY LOVE THIS IDEA!!!! I LOVED paper dolls when I was young and now you can't find them anywhere!! Sad Panda   But to have one made especially for me??? EPIC! Count me in....if newbies are allowed anyway.

What I had in mind was a swap where someone would make a doll and some clothes tailored to their partners tastes. There are some free printouts available, and I'd love to get some websites for them, but my initial idea was to have them crafted by the person themselves, of course if there are two people who don't feel their artistic skills are up to it then certainly they can be paired up together and use printouts (though I'd expect a high level of decoration on the printouts themselves). Newbies would of course be welcome. I was hoping for a sign up mid-late December and send outs some time in the new year so as not to bombard people with crafts near the holiday season. But this would be a pretty low stress swap, cheap envelope shipping, and a great way to recycle all that wrapping paper.
