I am almost done with my hoop for Evilpixie! I was so scared, I couldn't find the gray I had been using for it and it turned out to be on my daughter's baby doll's butt!

On the convo about the hoops, I like the plain wood ones because I can paint them to match the stitchery.

haven't done to much with this swap yet, except for all the ideas floating around in my head...... this weekend was taken up with finishing up some costumes for The Nutcracker, as well as an elf and two litttle helper costumes.... and when those were all done, I worked on the stuff I'm taking over to the Nature Center for their Xmas festival......

Lady Pistola's hoop is packaged and my mum is going by the p.o. tomorrow so she will stop by to pick up my load for the p.o. tonight!

Bookwyrm's hoop is drawn out and has a couple of stitches in it already.

Still need to finish the gifts I am making for my family and friends.

Knitting goal for 2011: knit 500,000 stitches.  24,078/500,000 knit.  I think I'm going to need more yarn...

I am still in the gathering ideas phase.  I need to get the rest of this big swap out the door before I give this one my concentration.  Cheesy I am super excited though and already have 4" hoops although I might look for some smaller ones just cause they are so cute.

I've decided both of mine are getting the 4 inch hoops. I'll keep the smaller ones for stash. Maybe some christmas ornaments (Next Year?)
There are some christmas designs in a book that might work, but not for this!
My outline stitch is done. I then washed the piece to remove any tracing paper colorant that I could. It is now drying. The colored work is next. I think it will come alive then, but it's even cute as it is.

Me too. I think the 2.5" hoops are SO cute but I just couldn't fit the design I wanted into that small of a space.

I had a marathon stitching session today and managed to finish Songs4Drowning's hoop! Mr. Lime asked if we could keep it so I think that's a good sign Grin. I'm going to try to get to the post office this week.

I have narrowed it down to about four ideas...after I get Christmas stockings made and embroidered, I will get on this...

I will be looking for small frames this week...with so many days off between now and the New Year, I am hoping to get a lot done!
