lol.  I know what you mean.  I accidentally went over my $30 budget by $2.  >_<  but it was only $2.  it's not like it was $20 or $200.  Tongue

It looks like we'll have some early senders!! I still haven't started yet but I plan to get going today. It's a miserable day in Seattle = perfect crafting weather Smiley.

I'm going to brave the rain at some point. I need to make an urgent trip to the fabric store  Cheesy Cheesy.

I think I've nailed down my design for whats_her_name, but I need to chat up Muddy21 to get some ideas. Once I actually start stitching, things will go pretty quickly.

I've got a plan, and I'm just letting it percolate for a few days so I can think through the best way to do it. Excited about getting started!

I'm so glad I only went with one partner.  I have a really good idea for the tiny little hoop and it's going to take some time working it out.  TONS of tiny little stitches.  <3

I actually got started on one of mine today! I have most of the details outlined with a tiny back-stitch. Then, I'm going to fill in with color; and finish with another layer of outlin stitching.
I used yellow dressmakers carbon, on white, and found that it was hard to see. But, I used a fine point yellow sharpie to define smaller details.
I just found out this small work is harder than it looks! I'm going to cover the lines, but I didn't want dark outlines peeking thru.
I know that when they embroider Bridal work, they use a white pencil. Now, that is hard to see!

For once, I'm not going to jump into crafting like I normally do in swaps. I'm a high school teacher and next week is finals. That in itself is more than enough stress for the time being. I'll start stitching next weekend when things slow down a bit for me. Smiley

I finished canamharris's hoop!! Um, are we suppose to send extras?

That was fast! I'm so excited to see it!! =)

Haha! It only seems like it. Took me most of one night, and an hour or two the next. I'm pretty happy with it, so I hope you like it.

My original plan for Abbeeroad was way to busy for such a small hoop. I have a few idea's in my head, just need to sit down and draw them out. Smiley
