these are the first successful lip balms i've made!

i didn't really use a set recipe, just read a bunch of different recipes and kinda went with them all.
main components were beeswax, jojoba oil, and almond oil. i had two different scents and raspberry, orange, and cinnamon flavor oils.

these are the tins i used and they are super cute.

and this is how they turned out...

during this process, i learned that the dropper that tops my lavender scented oil is broken and i ended up accidentally pouring a LOT of lavender into the last one. let's just say it's VERY SOOTHING  Wink

thanks for looking!  Smiley

Super Hello Kittylicious cute!!! Where did you get the tins?

most of them are small candy tins that i'll buy without ever intending on eating the candy.

the tokidoki one i got at sephora.

there is a candy store in ocean city, md that has cute tins to use. i think the hello kitty ones i got at michael's, in that little section near the checkout where everything is a dollar.

i know that isn't much help at all, but when you see them, stock up! they're always good for crafting.  Smiley

I used an old Revlon lipstick in a discontinued color...I forget what it's called but it was pinkish-coral type of thing.  Either way it looked atrocious on me, so I hacked it up into bits and used different amounts for each tin.  I mostly just like the color for decoration, but the middle pink (green hello kitty tin) acts as a tinted lip balm and looks nice.
