Reality is highly overrated...

I love using acrylic gel medium in my art journals, primarily for transfers or to adhere pieces of crumpled thin papers for texture. I've found, though, that the facing pages of the spread tend to stick together. This has ruined one spread.

Once I realized this, I've solved it for my personal art journals: I simply place a piece of paper cut to size between the pages once they're dry. However, I'm participating in the Sketchbook Project, so I'm making a book that will be leaving my hands. Obviously I need to find a better solution.

Does anyone have an archival solution that will really work to seal a page with a lot of acrylic gel medium on it? Is there another medium that will do the trick?

Thanks!
