I started off making a cork wreath as the lovely BeaG suggested, but it took on a life of it's own once I started glueing those corks on. I've ended up with a rather festive tree! Cheesy

Aaw, it's perfect!
I love how you came up with another idea for reusing wine corks.

That is a cute idea!
Plus it's cork, so you could even stick some Christmas pins in it for ornaments.

I love it!!

This is wonderful!  I may have to try this myself as I have a ton of corks and a styrofoam tree (my sis gave me this as a gag gift).   I think she'll be surprised when we transform it!   Smiley

Thanks! I'm pleased that our corks have been recycled into something fun, as I couldn't throw them away. It's quite strange to look at how many bottles you've drunk your way through over three and a half years all stacked up like that. It is hollow though! Cheesy

Building it on a styrofoam base is a great idea, atsuko!

I am so doing this! Fantastic IDEA! I have a giant jar of corks that I did not know what to do with until now. Thank you!

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Thanks! I think corks are one of those things that you keep, but don't know exactly why. Or at least that's how I was Cheesy I'm glad they now have a purpose rather than just being chucked in the bin. Smiley
