so, I'm not a great artist, but I want to draw something for my boyfriend for christmas (yeah, it's sort of early, but I want to do something really special/amazing)...the only problem is, I have no idea what to do ^^; My drawing style is usually manga, but I've done realistic drawings with scenery, objects, flowers, and animals. I don't want to be really really romantic or anything, I just want to draw something nice. I've been thinking about a theme around dreams and stars and something like that....and then maybe a winter scene or something...but other than that, I have no concrete ideas. Any help is appreciated, so please and thank you  Grin

draw a zombie ninja standing on flowers on a snow path throwing ninja stars at the bad guys from resident evil, some times its fun to put random ideas in a hat and see what shows up, that's what i do sometimes when i have no seance of what to create.

Illustrations, paintings and other knick knacks.

Party time all the time.

If you draw in the Manga format, consider doing one "story page"? Maybe about your first meeting
or first date?

I did a few postcards for my Wife and some comic pages...like this one. (And more.)

sorry, I've been, erm, MIA for a long time XD
thanks, to both of you! Cheesy I really like the one page manga idea, actually...which is perfect, because his bday is coming up soon ^^

I have found that the best art comes when I'm drawing something that I most love to draw/paint, rather than trying to meet some external demand.  Since you don't even have a demand, I'd just draw intuitively what is most fun for you, and I'll bet it will have such joy and passion in it that he will love it.  What is your favorite thing to draw?
