Those are great! I love the skull in particular. Your sister is very lucky to have a crafty sister! Smiley

They are planning to at least have one more after this so I'm sure they will get some use.

I love the Don Hertzfeld one even though it's super simple just because my sister and I used to go to the Spike and Mike's animation festival and they would play "rejected". I also love "Ah, Lamour".

What brand onesies are these?  Cuz we all know some are cheap sh*t, & I'd be afraid to embroider on those.  I'm only 15 weeks, and doc has me on bed rest till this Friday, if this crap keeps up then I'm gonna have to find something to do besides stare at facebook all night & play Ratchet & Clank.

LOVE the work by the way, your stitches look really good.  I have trouble with making myself slow down enough to get the stitches uniform in size, so I tell myself that if I wanted it perfect, then I'd use Mom's embroidery machine.  I can talk myself into almost anything.

Are you in Canada? If so I got them from Great Canadian Superstore. They are nice and soft and seem pretty well made (surprisingly I generally find their "Joe Fresh" clothing to be very good quality). They are 10$ for a pack of 3.

And thank you for the compliment! I did different stitching on some to see what I liked best, I liked just a simple backstitch best, it looks so clean and crisp on the white onesies.

It is easier to get a backstitch even, I agree.  I seem to do ok with a split stitch too, but just have to sloooooow down.

Brrr!  Canada is beautiful but too cold!  I'm in South Carolina.  I can find packs of Gerber brand onesies in the stores & they aren't great, they seem like they'd stretch horribly once mounted, and they're thin.  Some of the craft stores have onesies that are more like tee-shirts, I may have to try it out on one of those.  I assume you washed first to account for shrinkage?

Yes, I washed them and threw them in the dryer before stitching.
I agree the gerber ones are kinda crap and at walmart here they are 12$ for a pack of 3, these ones are more like a soft cotton t-shirt and 10$ for a pack of 3, so clearly the decision wasn't hard lol. They are pretty stretchy so it definitely wasn't the easiest thing to stitch on but they turned out fine.

My sister knows I embroidered onesies but she has no clue what's on them, I'm pretty excited for her to see them, her baby shower is on Sunday which I'm throwing for her, should be a good day Smiley
