I'm so happy that people are interested! I'm hoping to open the swap mid to late January.

oooh, and time to brainstorm some ideas!  I love the show, but can't think of a lot of things to make off the top of my head.... maybe it's still clouded by too much eggnog!

I'd love to do this. We just discovered Big Bang in November and have been watching the seasons on DVD. I can't believe we haven't been watching this show.

My brother surprised me with season 1 on dvd (the only season that I didn't have on dvd so far) which for some reason you can't find anywhere around here in the store...he actually said he had to turn to ebay.  I love that kid haha.

Now that work is slowing a bit (I'm in retail, eep!) I'm going to go over how to organize and such and I can't wait to get this swap started Smiley

Just say if you need a helping hand Smiley I'd gladly co-organize with you. When I did my first round of organizing I had a friend co-organize, not that she was that active. She was more like my security^^ I could ask her questions about organizing and she would help me out if I needed it. That was really nice for me at least. Just a little experience sharing Cheesy

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I understand it.
Points are in relation to how much work you put into the stuff you're sending your partner. IE 4 points is equal to 4 hours of crafting time. This can be made up with a 4 point item, or say a 3 point item and a 1 point item, 2 and 2 points and so on.

This link will show you a bunch of FAQ's which you might find useful Smiley

Thanks for the link, though all I could find was this:

"08. What are points as they apply to swap requirements?

A few organizers like to use a points system. A swap may be described as a "5 point or 7 point swap".  This is allowed, but it is not a Craftster regulated system. If you are uncertain of what exactly a points system type swap entails, please contact the organizer of that swap for details."

The "points" are a way to mix and match what you send. instead of saying make one large and one small you would say 4 pts.. which could include large & small or 2 mediums.
3 points = large
2 points = medium
1 point = small
really tiny items are usually referred to as "extras" sometimes as "tiny"

What makes a s/m/l varies a bit by organizer, they usually give a guide but here is one I have seen often:

Small Item = 1 point --> 2 or less hours (eg. bookmark, earrings, coin purse)...  ...
... $10
Medium Item = 2 points --> 2 or more hours (eg. scarf, doll, necklace)... or $10-$ ...
...
Large Item = 3 points --> 3 or more hours (eg. ...
... , purse, shawl, jewelry set)... or $30+

It can be defined as by time, cost, or physical size.. or a combination of the three.
I know i never use time b/c I spend waaaay more on most things I make

What I usually do is average out how much time I spent and how much it cost.  For instance, if I spend 4 hours on an item that only cost a couple of dollars in supplies, I usually count it as a medium.
